This session is designed specifically for youth workers preparing for summer programming for a range of different learners.
During this online session, participants will explore strategies to support all youth – including youth with disabilities – in inclusive, engaging, and developmentally responsive ways. Participants will leave with actionable strategies to create a welcoming, inclusive, summer environment, where every young person can participate fully and feel a strong sense of belonging.
This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
